Euler's Disciples

Information about Euler's "Disciples" (eight scholars who worked closely alongside Euler) is now available, linked from the "Life of Euler" page.

If anyone has additional information about any of the individuals listed as one of Euler's Disciples, please let us know! You can send information through the form on the "Contact Us" page at the Euler Archive.

Introductio now available in German

The 1885 German edition of Euler's Introductio (E101B^3) is now available on the Euler Archive. Ed Sandifer found this edition and sent us copies, and Alison Setyadi scanned and formatted it for the Archive.
This German edition nicely complements the links we already have to the Latin and French editions on the Gallica pages. These three languages are the only ones into which Enestrom reported E101 being translated. A reader could now purchase Blanton's English translation, and then, together with the Archive, have a copy of all four of the Introductio's translations.
